Houndstooth Dress 3 ways

Outfit 1: Mangenta Blazer: Forever 21; Dress: H&M; Heels: Jessica Simpson via ShoeDazzle; Statement Necklace: Zara; Clutch: Hugo Boss
Outfit 2: Jacket: Orsay; Heels: Nine West; Bag: Chanel
Outfit 3: Fur Vest: TjMaxx; Gloves: Görtz; Boots: Zara; Scarf: C&A

A houndstooth dress is such a classic piece that can be styled in various ways and a simple change of accessoires and a jacket can change its appearance. One of my goals this year was to shop as little as possible because I have clothes for the rest of my life really. I made this new purchased dress my center piece and reshopped the rest to make it look differently.

The first Ensemble is a great look that can be worn in the office or even to a christmas party. The mangenta adds a flash of color to the black and white monochromatic look. I had this blazer for years and its really an all year arounder. I was at first a little bit sceptical to wear tights with opentoe heels but at the end I loved the result. I just don't want to put those beauties to winter sleep yet.

The second look reflects a typical monochrome look. The motojacket gives the elegant dress a more edgy touch and looses the "strictness" a litt bit up. The jacket and nice detailed boots are closet staples for years now.

Option 3 is a typical winter edition. The fur vest, the knee boots and leather gloves transform this dressto a modern and elegant winter ensemble. Itsn't great how just a simple red scarf and some lipstick can change the occurence?

Have  a happy second Advent y'all! Only 9 days till I see my love in the states, super excited <3

Orchid blue black ensemble

Pants: Asos (old) last seen here; coat: C&A; Blazer: H&M; Pumps: Deichmann; Boots: Mango; Bag; Asos, Sunnies: Firmoo c/o; gloves; Göertz

That multicolored floral pants inspired me to build the rest of my ensemble around it. Those colors are super refreshing and cheerful, just right to bring some color and warmness in that cold winter season. I love how the orchird shirt peeks through the layers of jackets.

striped pleated skater skirt with a pop of yellow and orange

skirt: asos on sale now ; jacket: orsay; blouse: f21; clutch: asos  last seen here; heels: Zara (old): lipstick: covergirl 350eternal

Full pleated swing skirts look super flattering on women with curves, especially when they have wide hips. I was trying some maxi skirts on and just looked ridiculous, they are just not made for my figure.  For some reason that don't cont for maxi dresses, they hug my body pretty nicely :-)
So knowing what fits best to my feminine body shape, I tend to grab for skater dresses/skirts with cute pattern like this striped one. I paired it with my lovely ruffled blouse that I got from my by last christmas and ruffled heels for that playful finish. The leather looking jacket with its gold detailing gives it the perfect edgy vibe. I really like the black and white trend but only with a pop of colour so the orange and yellow was exactly the right amount!

PS: If you have been following me on GFC so far, they will shut down their business by July1st, so it would be great if you follow me on bloglovin instead. Thanks for your support, it means the world to me :-)

metallic elements

Baroque pattern was the trend in the winter season. I 'd still love to wear it and make a transition to spring by combining it with my gold sandals and my favourite sheer light orange blouse. Have a great start in the week!

Peplum 3 in1 Remix

Peplum: VJ Style (recent); Dress: Marshalls (old); Pumps: Deichmann; Necklace: H&M; Bag: Orsay; Sunnies: Esprit

Shorts: H&M; Pumps: Zara (recent)

Skinny Jeans: Asos; Pumps; NineWest; Belt; H&M; Bag: Chanel
I saw it, I purchased it, I wore it in 3 ways. Usually before I put an item in my shopping bag, I visualize how it matches with the rest of my clothes in the closet. Here is just an example to wear this high low peplum with a skirt/dress, jeans and shorts. The two other versions will be shown in the next post.
Are you wearing the items you buy just with the same items or do you experiment?
